"Once my rehab was complete, I transitioned over to personal training because I did not want to stop my progress towards overall health."

The Challenge

A patient initially sought physical therapy with Trevor Elliott for an Achilles injury. While recovering from the injury was the immediate priority, the patient also wanted to improve overall strength and physical fitness rather than simply return to their previous level of activity.

The Turning Point

During rehabilitation, the patient developed a strong working relationship with Trevor and appreciated his ability to listen, make adjustments, and tailor exercises to individual needs. As recovery progressed, the patient recognized an opportunity to continue building on that progress.

The Approach

Trevor emphasized individualized exercise programming, continually adjusting activities based on the patient's abilities, goals, and progress. His combination of physical therapy and strength and conditioning expertise allowed the patient to transition from injury rehabilitation into a more comprehensive personal training program.

The Outcome

After completing rehabilitation for the Achilles injury, the patient chose to continue working with Trevor through personal training. What began as treatment for an injury evolved into an ongoing commitment to building strength and improving long-term health.

In the patient’s own words

"Trevor created the perfect recovery plan to get me back on my feet and moving again. He was very knowledgeable and very good at explaining every exercise and how it was being used to get me to the next level of recovery."
